Project Work in Bremen

As a peace foundation based in the city of Bremen, the Threshold Foundation promotes activities fostering justice and peace in and around Bremen: Many conferences, trainings, exhibitions and publications have been and still are supported on a small scale. For example, activities of the "Parzivalhof" (an integrative residential home for challenged and less-challenged people) in Fischerhude (near Bremen) have been financially supported for a long time. Currently the foundation supports "Blaumeier-Studio for Art" (artistic projects with challenged and less challenged people) and the setting up of a memorial place ("Rosenak-Haus") for Jewish life in Bremen prior to 1933.

The Threshold Foundation has also contributed to the creation of the "Garden of Human Rights" at the Rhododendron Park in Bremen and works in close cooperation with the association Arbeit und Zukunft ("Work and Future"). At present, the project called "Wenn Raben streiten…" (When ravens fight…) is of prior importance to the Threshold Foundation.
