Since its inception in 1979, the Foundation's assets have increased to almost 4 million Euros. The Foundation’s work is financed through returns on assets, grants given by the founders as well as through individual donations. With an annual rate of return of 2.5 to 4 percent, the Foundation generates a total return between 25,000 to 40,000 Euros per one million Euros of assets. Additionally, the foundation raised funds and received payments of ca. 180,000 Euros annually. This means that a total amount up to 340,000 Euros is being used to finance and support "contributions to peace work".
