Besides supporting projects, the Threshold Foundation shares long-term collaboration with three other associations that have also been co-founded by the Foundation, namely gewaltfrei handeln - living nonviolence, learning peace ecumenically based in Wethen (state of Hessen, Germany) as well as the national (and European) Network of Peace Historians. The Threshold Foundation is a judicial member of these associations. In the first two cases, Foundation members are represented in the respective boards. These collaborations are an essential part of the foundation’s daily work.

Financial support is project-based, but it may also be given as basic grants for running activities.
